General Reminders
District Officer Advisors
Please inform your district officer team of these duties.
•
Delegate sign-in begins at 8 a.m., with the actual convention beginning at 9 a.m. District officer team needs to be set up at the delegate sign in tables by 7:45 a.m.
•
All district officers will help their advisors with ballot collection. •
District President and Vice President are in charge of turning in ballots. •
District President will announce the first session district roll call on stage. •
District Vice-President will announce the second session district roll call on stage. •
Each District Secretary will read the flag ceremony at the beginning of session 1. •
District Treasurers will carry the flags. •
An area officer will meet flag ceremony and roll call officers around 8:30 at the delegate sign in table to bring
them to the stage.•
All remaining district officers will be courtesy corp members and meet @ 8am @ registration table.
Speaking events follow the same rotation as LDE events
Registration will be on www.judgingcard.com for Talent and Speaking events
All 3rd placing District level team AST’s are responsible for judging at Area
See Area Coordinator to make arrangements for another teacher to take your place if you are unable to judge.
Don’t leave your district teachers hanging……we will try to secure industry judges if possible
