Area IX Camp
Registration is now open for the Area IX Leadership Camp. Both events can be found on the June 24th date on JC. Please review the following important updates and details regarding this year’s registration process:
1. Camp Dates (REGISTRATION FOR BOTH CAMPS IS ON THE JUNE 24TH DATE)
June 22–24: Area IX Leadership Training Academy
June 24–26: Area IX Leadership Camp
2. Registration Deadline
Registration FOR A IX LEADERSHIP CAMP DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NEXT FRIDAY (MAY 22). Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
YOU MUST UPLOAD THE REG FORM AT REGISTRATION ON JC
3. District & Area Officers (New Process)
District and Area Officers will be registered by the District Presidents (District Officers) and ALDC (Area Officers). Chapters are no longer responsible for registering District or Area Officers through their chapter accounts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE A CHAPTER THAT HAS REGISTERED YOUR DISTRICT AND AREA OFFICER FOR LTA - YOU ARE DOING IT INCORRECTLY. THE ONLY PERSON WHO NEEDS TO REGISTER THE DO/AO ARE THE DISTRICT PRESIDENTS/DISTRICT LEADERSHIP COORDINATORS. YOUR CHAPTER WILL BE CHARGED INSTEAD OF CHARGING THE DISTRICT.
4. Camp Fees
ALC Campers: $75.00 per student
Overnight Advisors: $75.00 per advisor
5. Chaperone Requirement
Each participating chapter is required to provide at least one overnight chaperone. No exceptions will be made.
6. Camper Registration Forms (New Requirement)
All campers must complete the required registration form. A scanned PDF copy must be uploaded to the student’s registration on JudgingCard. Students without an uploaded form will not be permitted to attend. Paper copies will not be accepted at check-in.
IF THERE IS NO PDF UPLOADED - YOUR STUDENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND CAMP. WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING PAPER COPIES THIS YEAR FOR SAFETY REASONS.
7. Water Requirement
Each chapter is required to bring at least one case of water.
8. Community Service Project
Chapters are encouraged to participate in the Area IX community service project. The Area IX Officer Team will again be supporting the Pine Springs Baptist Camp through cereal donations. The district with the most collected items will accumulate points towards the camp challenge. Accepted items include:
Frosted Flakes
Cocoa Puffs
Froot Loops
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Additional materials, including registration details, camper forms, and the schedule, can be found on JudgingCard. The camper schedule will be released following the Area Convention.
